Platforms and System Requirements
Windows support and verified minimum/recommended PC specifications.
Mandate Order currently lists Windows only. Minimum: Windows 10, i7-9700 or Ryzen 5 3600, 16 GB RAM, GTX 1660 6 GB / RX 5600 XT 6 GB / Arc A750, DirectX 12 and 20 GB storage. Recommended: i7-12700K or Ryzen 7 5800X with RTX 3070 8 GB or RX 6800 16 GB.

Official PC tiers
The minimum tier is the official floor for launching the current Windows build; the recommended tier is the safer target for large settlements and battles. Performance still depends on drivers, background load and the current Early Access patch.
- Minimum CPU: Intel i7-9700 or AMD Ryzen 5 3600.
- Minimum GPU: GTX 1660 6 GB, RX 5600 XT 6 GB or Intel Arc A750.
- Recommended CPU: Intel i7-12700K or AMD Ryzen 7 5800X.
- Recommended GPU: RTX 3070 8 GB or RX 6800 16 GB.
- Both tiers list 16 GB RAM, DirectX 12 and 20 GB storage.
Before blaming the hardware
Use a repeatable scene when comparing settings. Update the graphics driver, restart the game, close heavy background tasks and test the same settlement or battle again.
- Confirm the dedicated GPU is active on laptops.
- Keep enough free disk space for patches and shader data.
- Compare the current patch notes before applying an old workaround.
- Treat Proton, emulation and unannounced console versions as unsupported experiments.
If it does not work
Steam does not currently list macOS, Linux, PlayStation, Xbox or Switch versions. Avoid compatibility claims based only on emulation or wishlists.

Steam shows the Windows icon and the PC meets or exceeds the listed tier.
